Tonight, the moon rises full and near, luminous and warm, draped in its golden mantle. This Full Moon is sometimes called the Golden Beaver Moon, a name tied to late autumn's instinctive work: gathering, preparing, and creating what sustains us through the darker season ahead.

There is something tender in that reminder.

This is the moon of quiet industry, of tending to our homes, our inner rooms, our emotional hearth-fires. It asks us to look gently at what we have been building, what we are still holding, and what we may be ready to release before the year turns toward winter's deep silence.

The Golden Beaver Moon 🌕 invites us to:

🕯️ Prepare with intention.

Not from urgency of fear, but from care. What do you need to feel supported?

🌾 Honor your work.

Everything you have created this year, visible and invisible, has meaning.

🌙 Slow down into yourself.

The veil of autumn encourages rest, restoration, and softer breathing.

You may feel emotions surface tonight, not to overwhelm, but to be heard.

You may sense old intuitions stirring, not to confuse, but to guide.

You may feel the pull to come home to yourself.

If you feel called, light a candle. Sit by a window. Let the moonlight touch your skin.

Ask simply:

What am I carrying that wishes to be laid down?

And what desires to be protected and nourished through the winter?

Listen. The moon speaks in quiet ways.

Pagan & Wiccan Rituals for this Full Moon

  • 🌊 Water Rituals: Given the beaver's connection to water, you can perform water-based rituals like placing a bowl of water under the moonlight to cleanse intentions or visiting a body of water to reflect and let go.

  • 🧿 Protection and stability spells: Use twigs or branches to create a small "lodge" shape to symbolize building a protective barrier, with a stone placed in the center for stability.

  • 📓 Journaling/Writing: Reflect on what you have built and what you wish to achieve. Write down fears, worries, or goals on paper to then bury, burn, or banish to symbolically release or transform them.

  • 🏡 House cleansing: Conduct a house cleansing ritual to sweep out negative or stagnant energy.

  • 🍽️ Feast and gratitude: Gather with others to share "cakes and ale," a traditional way to give thanks to the Mother Goddess and Father God.

May this Full Moon offer you warmth, clarity, and the gentle knowing that you are supported in your becoming.
