As the Wheel turns and day meets night in perfect balance, we arrive at Ostara, a sacred point of renewal, growth, and gentle awakening.
Rooted in the spring equinox, Ostara is a time when light and dark stand as equals, reminding us that balance is not something we chase... but something we return to.
The earth begins to stir. Seeds planted in stillness begin to reach upward.
And within us, something soft begins again.
This is not a loud transformation. It is quiet, intentional, and sacred.
🌿 The Energy of Ostara
Ostara invites you to:
✨ Begin again without pressure
✨ Nurture what is just starting to grow
✨ Release what no longer aligns
✨ Trust in timing, yours and the Earth's
This is a season of becoming, not forcing.
Like the first blooms of spring, you do not need to rush your unfolding.
🌙 Ostara Ritual
A gentle ritual to honor growth, balance, and new beginnings.
🕯 What you'll need:
A candle (white, green, or yellow)
A small bowl of water
A piece of paper
Something natural (flower, leaf, seed, etc.)
Light your candle - sit quietly and take a few slow breaths.
Reflect - on your paper, write: one thing you are ready to release and one thing you are ready to grow.
Water blessing - dip your fingers into the water and gently touch the paper. Say, "I release with grace, and I welcome what is ready to grow."
Hold your intention - Place your natural item over the paper and sit for a moment.
Close the ritual - Blow out the candle slowly.
You may keep the paper in your journal, or safely discard it (burying it in nature, burning it safely, etc.)
